Buenas! Let us introduce ourselves.
We’re Laura and Agustín, an American/Panamanian couple. Our story started in 2010, when we met in Panama.
Since then, we built a home, traveled to three continents together, and adopted many pets, some of which are in heaven and 14 of which currently fill our lives with joy and travesuras (trouble-making).

Our home base is Chagres National Park in Panama. We live in a rural region surrounded by stunning natural beauty where there are dirt paths instead of roads and civilization is a dugout canoe and car ride away (come visit us!).
We started this blog in 2025 to help visitors to Panama and beyond plan smarter, more economical, and hands-on trips. We hope our advice gives your trip a special touch it otherwise wouldn’t have had.
Abrazos (hugs) from Panama,
Laura and Agustín
